Block A is about 50 percent constructed, while Block B and Block C are each about 25 percent constructed. Prime Block is under construction, with work going on for roads, electricity and gas. These figures are approximate and change as work continues.

You have decided to build in Faisal Hills, but each block offers something different. Pick the wrong one and you could pay far more than you needed to, or wait years for services. This guide explains how the blocks compare and which one we recommend.

Why trust this guide?

AG Property has its office inside Faisal Hills. Our advice comes from what we see on the ground every day: which blocks have families living in them, where plots have been filled with soil, and what plot rates buyers are really paying. This guide is based on our physical survey of the society.

Which block in Faisal Hills is best for building a house?

Based on our physical survey, we recommend Block C for most buyers who want to build a house. Families have already built homes in Block C and are living there. Plot prices are far lower than in the Executive Block and Block A, and the land is solid. The Executive Block has very high plot rates, Block A also has high rates, and in Block B most plots have been filled with soil. Block D offers level, possession-ready plots and a planned golf club. The right answer still depends on your budget, your timeline and whether the plot has possession.

Location and access

Faisal Hills sits on GT Road, about a three-minute drive from Sector B-17 Islamabad and about five minutes from Taxila Cantt, and other link road through B-17. Listings also describe access to Islamabad, Rawalpindi and the New Islamabad International Airport through the Islamabad Expressway, the M-1 Motorway and Margalla Avenue. Drive times depend on traffic, so test the route yourself.

 Roads, parks and recreation

The society has a 225-foot main boulevard and wide carpeted roads, with streets of at least 40 feet and up to 110 feet in some areas. Parks and green belts run across the blocks, especially in Block B. Listings also mention Glow Park and Glow Garden near Block A, a Miyawaki forest, and a sports arena and cricket ground about two minutes from some Block B plots. An older project page also lists a stadium with a tennis court, gym and swimming pool. We could not confirm that these exist today, so ask the society what is built before you count on them.

 Commercial and civic areas

Block A is described as the main commercial and civic zone, with the Faisal Arc landmark near the entrance. Faisal Jewel and City Walk Downtown are listed as nearby commercial developments like Hill walk. The Executive Block includes high-rise apartments, schools, shopping malls and offices.

Faisal Hills is also building commercial areas inspired by well-known international streets. According to the Faisal Town office, Hill Walk follows the idea of Nizami Street in Baku, Azerbaijan, a pedestrian shopping street in the heart of that city. The same source says City Walk, a large market planned above the entrance gate of Faisal Hills, takes its idea from the downtown commercial districts of Dubai, and that it is partly built. We could not find a public announcement confirming how far City Walk has progressed, so check what is open and what is still under construction when you visit.

 Education, healthcare and worship

Listings mention Roots Millennium School nearby,  Roots International School System has constracted its campus in the society and opreatinol . Other schools in Taxila, such as Wahdat Public School and Cantt Public School, are within a 5 to 10 minute drive. For healthcare, the amenity lists mention hospitals Hanif medical hospital inside the society. Nearby  Wah International Hospital, Christian Hospital Taxila, THQ Hospital Taxila and POF Hospital are the main nearby options. Mosques are listed within the society, with more a short drive away in Taxila and Wah Cantt.

 Utilities and security

Listings for possession-ready plots show electricity and sewerage, but this varies by block, so check the exact plot. The society is described in listings as a gated community, so ask the office how guards, gates and access are managed.

What Should you check before choosing a block?

Four things matter more than the name of the block.

Possession. You cannot get a map approved or start construction without it.

Development status. Roads, electricity, water and sewerage should be in place or at least visibly underway.

Existing neighbours. Building where people already live means less dust, better security and easier access to labour and materials.

Total budget. Plot price plus construction cost. A cheaper plot means little if you cannot build for years.

 Block by block comparison

Block C: the best block to build a house, based on our survey

Block C is the block AG Property recommends for building a house. Our physical survey found that people have already constructed houses in Block C and are living there, which shows the block is ready for real construction and daily life. It currently has the lowest prices in Faisal Hills, it has solid land according to AG Property, and it sits in the middle of the society.

Compared with the other blocks, the reasons are simple. The Executive Block has very high plot rates. Block A also has high rates. In Block B, most plots are filled with soil, which means extra checks and cost before building. Block C avoids all three problems. It is about 25 to 30 percent constructed overall, so expect a quieter neighbourhood while development continues.

A connecting road between Block C and B-17 Block G has been reported as inaugurated. According to the Faisal Town office, this road is being prepared jointly to connect with the M-1 motorway. This link is still planned and not yet confirmed as complete, so check its current status with the developer. A petrol station inside the block is already operating, which is a useful sign of activity.

Best for buyers who want to build a house at a lower price on solid land, with neighbours already living nearby. Visit the exact plot, confirm its possession status, and check how close the nearest finished road and utility connection are.

Executive Block: premium and the most advanced

The Executive Block is almost 80 percent constructed according to AG Property, which makes it the furthest along. It has direct access to GT Road and sits close to the Margalla Hills. It is the most commercially active part of the society, with projects like Faisal Jewel and Hill Walk Downtown nearby. Plot rates are very high compared with other blocks.

Best for buyers who want convenience, or investors looking at commercial plots. If your budget is flexible, it is a comfortable place to live, but you will pay for the location.

 Block A: established, but expensive

Block A is the largest residential block, with more than 6,500 plots, and is about 50 percent constructed. It includes the 225-foot main boulevard and a commercial hub. Fresh files are mostly sold out, so you will usually buy from the secondary market. Plot rates are high. Boulevard-facing plots typically carry a premium of up to around 10 percent, so decide whether frontage is worth it for a home.

Best for buyers with a larger budget who want a developed and active part of the society.

Block B: green setting, but check the filling

Block B is often described as the green heart of Faisal Hills, with parks and open space, and is about 25 percent constructed. A smaller B-Extension sits alongside it. In our survey, most plots in Block B were found to be filled with soil. Filled land needs proper compaction and a soil check before you build, so ask for a soil test and visit the plot before you pay.

Best for families who value a calm green environment and are ready to do the extra checks. Prices generally sit in the middle range.

Block D: level land, possession plots and a golf club

Block D is the newest residential block, and according to AG Property it is one of the most level blocks in Faisal Hills, with solid land. Possession-ready plots are available, so buyers can move toward map approval and construction without waiting. New blocks usually start with lower entry prices, but services and neighbours arrive gradually.

The society has also decided to build a golf club in Block D. A golf club can add open green space and raise the appeal of the block over time. It is not built yet, so ask the developer for the expected timeline before you count on it.

Best for buyers who want level land they can build on soon, or those combining residence with long-term investment.

Prime Block: under development

Prime Block is under construction, and according to AG Property, work is going on for roads, electricity and gas. Because services are still being completed, it suits buyers who are comfortable waiting for the neighbourhood to be ready. For plot options and payment details, contact AG property.

Quick comparison

Block C: lowest prices, solid land, houses already built and lived in, our top pick for building a house.
Executive Block: very high plot rates, almost 80 percent constructed, best for premium homes and commercial plots.
Block A: high plot rates, about 50 percent constructed, best for buyers with a larger budget.
Block B: mid prices, most plots filled with soil, best for quiet family living after a soil check.
Block D: level land with possession plots and a planned golf club, best for building soon on flat ground and long-term plans.
Prime Block: under development with roads, electricity and gas work, best for buyers who can wait for services to be completed.

What Should you check on a site visit

A brochure cannot tell you what a plot is like on the ground. Take this list with you.

First, is the road to your plot finished, or does it stop short of it.
Second, are electricity, water and sewerage lines present near the plot.
Third, is the plot level and is the soil solid. Look at the slope and whether the street was filled with soil. Google Earth historical imagery can show how the area looked before development.
Fourth, how much dust or noise is there. Visit at different times of day.
Fifth, are houses already built nearby. Occupied streets mean services are working.
Sixth, does the plot number match your papers. Check it against the allotment letter and the society map.

 Mistakes to avoid

Buying from a brochure. Visit the plot. Maps do not show whether the road to it is finished.

Ignoring possession. A plot without possession cannot be built on, however good the price looks.

Ignoring the soil. Filled land needs a soil test and proper compaction before construction.

Paying a frontage premium you do not need. For a home, a plot on a quieter street is often better value than one on the boulevard.

Skipping documents. Ask for the allotment letter, transfer papers and the current approval status of the society, and check them yourself or with a trusted advisor.

Forgetting construction cost. Budget for the build before you commit to the plot, not after.
